A simple, informational website

We do not operate accounts, payment tools, advertising trackers, newsletter subscriptions, or medical intake forms on this website. We do not set application cookies or use local storage. Our fonts and images are served with the website, not loaded from third-party advertising services.

Hosting and technical information

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and request data to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its practices.

When you contact us

Email links open your own email application. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond to your inquiry. Please send general questions only. Do not send health records, a child's diagnosis, or other sensitive clinical information. Email is not a secure clinical intake or emergency service.

For questions about information you have shared with us, contact info@samhoustonchapter.org.

External resources

Links to the Association for Play Therapy, Texas Association for Play Therapy, Internet Archive, and public nonprofit records take you to independent websites with their own terms and privacy practices. Listings are educational resources, not a guarantee of a provider's services or an endorsement of any particular treatment.

Our story and public records

Our historical background is informed by our website archived in December 2022. Our organization's public tax record is listed under EIN 47-1524567 in ProPublica's Nonprofit Explorer, which draws on IRS data. Historic chapter information is not a current board, membership-fee, or event listing.

Images and typography

• Play photograph: Melissa on Unsplash, used under the Unsplash License. This is an illustrative stock photograph, not a photograph of our members, clients, or a therapy session.
• Typography: DM Sans, distributed under the SIL Open Font License.
• Our site's geometric illustrations and visual mark were created for this website redesign. They are not a restored historical logo.

Accessibility

We aim to make this website usable with keyboards, screen readers, and different screen sizes. We honor reduced-motion preferences. If you encounter an accessibility problem, please email us with the page and a description of the issue.
